Keeping Pet Chickens and Caring for your Chickens courses
We are delighted to announce that we are now running courses which are led by me and my beautiful hens.
The Keeping Pet Chickens course covers all the basics you need to successfully care for your own flock of hens. Topics covered will include getting ready for your girls - looking at coops, runs, feed, set up and running costs etc, a hands-on hen tutorial, dealing with general hen behaviour as well as how to diagnose and treat common ailments. There will, of course, be a section on ex-batts and their specific needs!
The Caring for Your Chickens course is a half-day course covering the health and ailments aspects of the full course - showing you how to diagnose and treat common ailments in a hands-on way. Just don't tell my girls they are going to get their wings clipped!

The courses are held at Duchy Rosewarne, in the glorious West of Cornwall. Numbers are limited so booking is essential!
